Andrew Warren is Head of Compliance and MLRO for BGC Brokers, GFI Securities and Cantor Fitzgerald Europe, with more than 20 years’ experience in financial crime compliance and anti-money laundering across the financial services industry.

Throughout his career, Andrew has worked across Investment, Corporate and Custodial Banking, Brokerage and Retail CFD Brokerage, developing extensive experience in AML frameworks, KYC, Trade Surveillance and the MLRO function. His background includes both first and second line financial crime roles, including over 10 years specialising in KYC and more than a decade in senior second line compliance positions. Andrew has also held MLRO responsibilities within both the UK and Middle East.

Andrew has supported firms undertaking AML transformation and remediation programmes, including within S166 environments, helping organisations strengthen financial crime frameworks through practical and risk-based approaches. He is particularly passionate about supporting MLROs and financial crime professionals, alongside balancing innovation, AI and evolving regulatory expectations with effective and pragmatic compliance practices.
