The Institute of Money Laundering Prevention Officers (The Institute) is pleased to invite members and their guests to its Q4 2026 Members’ Event, kindly hosted by ComplyAdvantage.
The event will feature speakers from HMRC’s policy and supervisory teams, offering insight into the challenging regulatory environment facing Money Service Businesses (MSBs). The discussion will explore some of the sector’s most pressing financial crime compliance challenges, including staff training in high turnover and less regulated environments, transaction monitoring, Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs), and the wider risks and regulatory expectations associated with this highly exposed sector.
Whether you work directly within the MSB sector or provide banking and other financial services to MSBs, this event will offer valuable insight into the practical challenges businesses face and the regulatory framework within which they operate. It will also provide an opportunity to exchange perspectives with fellow professionals and strengthen connections across the financial crime compliance community.
We look forward to welcoming both existing members and prospective members with an interest in this important area of financial crime prevention.
