The Institute are delighted  to announce Emma Luxton, Interim Director of Operations at the Serious Fraud Office (UK) will attend our annual conference on 19 June at Squire Patton and Boggs' offices. She will participate in our ABC panel alongside Anna Bradshaw, Kevin McCart and Susan Hawley after the keynote speech from Baroness Margaret Hodge. The panel will be moderated by our Deputy Chair, Dr Mario Menz.

Emma was previously the SFO's Head of Proceeds of Crime and International Assistance at the Serious Fraud Office and has prosecuted a number of high profile fraud and bribery cases including Smith & Ouzman that saw the first post-trial conviction for a corporate for overseas bribery and led to a novel compensation arrangement with the victim state.

Emma co-drafted the CPS and SFO’s Deferred Prosecution Agreement Code of Practice that sits alongside the DPA legislation. She secured the UK’s second DPA, Sarclad Ltd and then the sixth DPA, Guralp Ltd. She will be an amazing speaker and we look forward to hearing her views.

There will be after event drinks provided by our generous hosts, Squire Patton Boggs post event. We look forward to seeing you, hearing your feedback and taking lots of photos!
