Behavioural science has emerged as a useful tool to bridging the gap between regulatory adherence and human action. By understanding the mechanisms that drive decision-making, behavioural science allows us to create compliance frameworks that are not merely procedural but are interwoven with the intrinsic motivations of employees. In grasping the subtleties of human behaviour, compliance professionals can learn to ensuring that ethical conduct and regulatory adherence become a natural extension of organisational activity, thereby fostering a culture that is inherently resilient to financial crime.
